About us
Jamaicans have built businesses in every corner of the world. Until now there was no single place to find them. So we made one: a home for Jamaican-owned businesses, wherever they are.
It started with a simple question every Jamaican abroad has asked: “Weh mi can get a proper patty round here?”
The answer was usually a friend of a friend, a flyer, or a group chat. Brilliant businesses were hard to find, and newcomers didn’t know where to start. The Jamaican Diaspora Business Directory brings them together, from bakeries and barbers to barrel shippers, accountants and artists.
“Out of many, one people.” Out of many cities, one directory.

No. Searching and listing are both free.
Our team reads every submission, checks that the business exists and looks for duplicates before approving it. If something doesn’t check out, we let the person who sent it know why.
Yes. The directory covers Jamaica and the diaspora, from Kingston and Montego Bay to Toronto, London, New York and beyond.
